OKEI TAPROOM (aka オケタプ) is the Oct 2024 offshoot of OKEI BREWERY’s Nippori operation, run by okey’s restaurant group and built for quick pours, not long speeches. The beer wall runs 16 taps, with house lines dominating and a few rotating guest kegs to keep locals interested; pours come in half or pint, and the logo glassware is half the marketing. Chef Takada’s “yamitsuki” Chinese menu is the backbone—mapo, black-vinegar pork, and fried rice that lets you keep sampling. It’s B1, bright, fully non‑smoking, and no table charge. There’s a small outdoor deck for early evenings. Take the counter; English is workable on a good night.
