How it works

  1. Find your bar

    Search by name or address. If it isn't on KRFT yet, add it from Google Maps.

  2. Show it's yours

    KRFT contacts the bar through its Instagram, phone or e-mail, and you reply from it. A contact you type isn't proof on its own.

  3. Update your menu

    Take a photo of your tap board in the KRFT app, or type your beers. Check what KRFT read, then publish.

  4. See what your page does

    Views, favorites and direction requests for your page. A view is one display of your page, not one person, and a direction request is not a visit.

The points network, if you want it

Guests tap the KRFT card at your counter with their phone: the visit is recorded and they earn a point. They spend their points as coupons at any bar of the network, yours included.

It is paid per point and separate from your free page, which stays free whether you join or not.

Costs and terms

¥100 per point
For each point a guest earns at your bar: one per verified visit, at most one per guest per day.
¥50 back per point spent
When a guest spends a coupon at your bar, KRFT pays back its full value: 10 points make a ¥500 coupon.
One monthly settlement
Points issued and points spent are netted each month. KRFT invoices or pays out once the balance reaches ¥5,000. No monthly fee, no setup cost.
Your first 30 days on KRFT
Nothing starts before KRFT approves your request. If your bar is new to the network, its first 30 days from activation are on KRFT: the points cost you nothing, and coupons spent at your bar are still paid back in full.
A card at your counter
If KRFT approves, it sends a small KRFT card for your bar. Guests tap it with their phone to record their visit. No tablet or other hardware needed.
Leave anytime
No minimum period. Points your guests already earned stay valid at the other bars of the network.

An example month, after the first 30 days

30 guests tap your card: 30 points, ¥3,000. Two guests each spend a ¥500 coupon at your bar: ¥1,000 back. The month nets to ¥2,000, carried over until the balance reaches ¥5,000.

Ask to join the network

You can ask before your menu is on KRFT. Nothing starts and nothing is billed before KRFT approves your request.

Questions bar owners ask

Is the page on KRFT really free?
Yes. Finding your bar, showing it's yours, updating your menu and seeing your page's results cost nothing. Only the points network is paid, per point, and only if you join it.
How does KRFT check that I run the bar?
KRFT contacts the bar through its Instagram, phone or e-mail, and you reply from it. Instagram is recommended when the bar has one. Until KRFT approves, the page stays as it is.
Do I have to accept coupons from points earned at other bars?
Yes, that is the network, and it works both ways. KRFT pays you back ¥50 per point used at your bar, the full value of the coupon, so a coupon is paid like a normal sale. There is no minimum spend for the guest.
What do points buy?
10 points make a ¥500 coupon and 20 points a ¥1,000 coupon; a guest holds 20 points at most. Points expire six months after they are earned, and earning new ones never extends them.
Do my regulars cost me too?
Yes, like any guest: ¥100 per visit, at most once a day per guest. They also earn points they can spend as coupons at your bar or at another bar of the network.
Do I need a tablet or other hardware?
No. If KRFT approves your network request, it sends a small KRFT card for your counter, and guests tap it with their phone. You manage your page from the KRFT app or this site.
Can I leave the network?
Yes, at any time, with no minimum period. Points your guests already earned stay valid at the other bars of the network, and your page on KRFT stays free.
Is KRFT available in Japanese?
Yes. The KRFT app and this site are in Japanese and English.
