Single-floor brewpub opened January 11, 2021 by two Shōwa-54 (1979)-born founders—owner Matsumoto Daisuke and head brewer Gojō Yoshinori—whose shared birth year gave the place its 2-5-4 name. Originally launched December 2017 in Kannai's Yoshidacho as 29BY (brewery downstairs, brewpub upstairs), they relocated the brewing kit and horse-meat kitchen to Hakuraku in January 2021 and rebuilt it as a one-floor operation with tanks visible through the glass. Fifty-five meters from Hakuraku station on the Ura-Hakuraku side opposite the Rokkakubashi shotengai. Eight rotating original taps span IPA, saison, smoke ale, sour, and pilsner—the Hakuraku IPA, brewed to mark the move, anchors the lineup at 5.8% with tropical fruit and lime notes. Food leans on horse basashi in four cuts and venison. Twenty-five seats, non-smoking, full cashless, closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
