A ground-floor beer bar in the Kayabacho banking grid where lava-stone skewers share the bill with roughly 50 Belgian bottles. Four taps rotate through Leffe, Hoegaarden and La Chouffe; the fridge runs deep into Trappist territory - Orval, Rochefort 10, Chimay, Duvel, Delirium. Seating splits between a counter and a couple of sofas, twenty seats plus standing room, and smoking is still allowed, so expect haze and after-work salaryman volume. The move: claim a counter stool, open on a draft La Chouffe, then step up to a Trappist heavyweight - Rochefort 10 or Orval - with Yamanashi Shingen-chicken skewers off the lava stone. Weekday only; dark on Saturdays, with a 385-yen charge at dinner.
