A brewpub born from a Meiji-era glass merchant's legacy: 4th-generation owner Iwasawa Katsumasa converted his family's vacant Kawasaki-shuku warehouse in December 2018 into a 16-seat brewpub that won the Japan Space Design Award 2019. The mood is industrial-wabi — fermentation tanks loom behind the bar like Kawasaki factory silhouettes, lit by hand-cut Edo kiriko glass lampshades. Brewer Tanoue Tatsushi brings a Belgian-herb sensibility; his Kawasaki-sourced collabs (local strawberry ales, shrine ginkgo leaf infusions, Frontale football club co-brews) are the actual reason to be here.
