Opened July 15, 2025 under the JR Chūō Line elevated tracks, halfway between Musashi-Koganei and Higashi-Koganei stations. This is JR East's first directly operated craft brewery, run by subsidiary JR Chūō Line Community Design, and the first brewery ever in Koganei City. The brewers are literal former station staff: Kimura and Hirano on the kettles, Kubo running hop cultivation, who put in time at multiple craft breweries before opening. The whole project grew out of the Poppoya Ale program (running since 2021), where station crews grow hops at eleven stations along the Chūō and Nambu lines and feed them into the recipes. Eight taps split roughly half house, half guest from the Tama-area sister breweries (OGA, 26K, Kunitachi, Tachihi, Toyoda, Shared, Ishikawa, Vertere). The room is bright high-clearance with the floor pattern modeled on the old Chūō Line rails and an engawa-style bench along the sidewalk window. Nuts, gyoza, chicken nuggets at ¥500. Bottle retail on the way out. Closed Monday through Wednesday.
