Head brewer Kanayama-san—a microbiology grad and ex-Asahi veteran—funded Japan's first crowdsourced brewery via Makuake in 2016, then moved Sakazuki to this bigger Kitasenju location in August 2020. Ground floor holds the brewery and a standing taproom with full sightlines into the brewhouse; the second floor adds a charcoal-grill restaurant with around 40 seats. Twelve taps mostly pour her own work—Weizen, Mild Ale, Unzen Smoke Porter, seasonal fruit beers—plus frequent collabs with Beer Ma up the street. Growler fills available. One Asahi tap lives on as a wink to her former employer. Closed Mon/Tue. Kitasenju's craft-beer axis wouldn't exist without this place.
