Opened July 12, 2025 at the foot of Mt. Takao, two to three minutes from Keio Takaosanguchi Station. The Takao operation is CRAFTROCK Brewing's second factory, the canning-for-nationwide-distribution arm of the Nihombashi brewpub run by Steady Works, the same group behind the CRAFT BEER MARKET chain and the CRAFTROCK Festival music event since 2014. Brewing license came mid-2025, can production from autumn 2025. The taproom shares the building's first floor with the brewery, the second floor is TAKAO 36 SAUNA under a separate operator, so the intended pipeline is hike, sauna, totonoi, beer. Eight fresh house drafts including collab pours such as the Firestone Walker California Soul. Capacity around thirty: window-side bench with bathmat-style rugs, standing counter, walls done in tile-pixel murals of the CRAFTROCK characters in a public-bath aesthetic. Snacks made in-house. Growlers, glasses, T-shirts, caps, bandanas for sale, hiker-focused merch. Cashless only, card and e-money. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
