Opened in 2012, BAR FUKURO is one of Kamata's steadier beer rooms, still shaped by owner-bartender Shota Kuragaki's palate rather than Tokyo trend-chasing. The shop's own Kamata Ale anchors eight taps, while the rest swings between Nordic curios, modern IPA takeovers, and neighborhood collaborations through the KAMATA drunkers crew. Physically it is a glass-front room with hanging plants, stickered counters, TV glow, terrace seats, and just enough standing space to keep the room moving. Do not treat it like a trophy stop on the way from Haneda. Drink the house beer first, then whatever guest keg looks freshest, and use the Cuban sandwich or fish and chips to slow the pace.
