Opened February 1, 2016 on the ground floor of the Verde Kudan building, two to three minutes from Ichigaya Station Exit A3 and walkable from Hanzomon and Kudanshita. Owner is a female chef who runs the kitchen, the floor, and a separate dim sum cooking class on the side (her personal handle reads 'sawadikah', so a Thai connection somewhere in the kitchen DNA). The thesis is straightforward and unusual: handmade, additive-free, MSG-free dim sum paired with Japanese craft beer. Eight rotating taps lean stylistically wide, recent pours from Ise Kadoya, Fujizakura Kogen, Shiga Kogen, Iwate Kura, Minoh, Gargery. The char siu bao got pulled into a TBS Bananaman segment after a TV producer found a clean split-bun photo on the blog. Shrimp shumai, xiao long bao, hand-folded wonton, no-MSG fried rice. Seventeen seats, can be fully booked for up to twenty. Non-smoking inside and out (upper floors are residential). Service charge added. Closed Sundays and public holidays.
