Kichijoji Taproom is Baird Brewing’s smallest Tokyo outpost, opened May 2019 with 25 seats and a clean, bright layout that keeps you facing the taps. Beer is straight from Shuzenji via the Baird pipeline: year-round standards plus seasonals, with bottles filling the gaps when a keg blows. The kitchen isn’t pub cosplay—it’s proper Tex‑Mex (tacos, fajitas, chili) built to soak up hop bitterness. It’s strictly non‑smoking and runs cashless-friendly (cards, IC, PayPay), so the crowd skews local regulars and beer nerds on quick rounds. If you want steering, name a style and ask for a taster; start with Rising Sun, then go darker. Use the semi-private nook for four; don’t sprawl.
