Opened May 2008 as Baird Brewing’s first Tokyo-area taproom, this is where Bryan and Sayuri Baird’s Shuzenji-brewed lineup gets poured the way it’s intended: fresh, by the pint, no gimmicks. Sixty seats in the GT Plaza C building (2F, two minutes from Nakameguro) means you’re in a beer hall, not a whisper bar—German-style communal tables, thick wooden counters, sofa corner, and a sports screen. They’ll pour half sizes, so you can run through seasonals without wrecking your palate. The kitchen sticks to New Haven “apizza” with high-heat char; order the clam pie or pepperoni and match it with a crisp pale or saison. No cover, all non-smoking, English menu, cards/IC/PayPay.
