A licensed outpost of Munich's Hofbrauhaus, planted across from Tokyo International Forum and run by Zato Shokai. The room commits to the theme: Bavarian-palace trim, portraits of Ludwig II and Sisi, warm low light over long tables that seat 80 and hold 110 more standing once the after-work Marunouchi crowd packs in. Noise runs buzzy, not deafening. The draft is shipped from Munich, so order a one-liter Mass of Hofbrau Original or the Muenchener Weissbier with a Schweinshaxe, and time your visit for the autumn Oktoberfest pour. Non-smoking floor, and a 10% service charge lands on dinner a la carte. The German wine list runs deeper than it needs to.
