Opened Aug 2024 in Kyodo’s old basement arcade, this is Shosei Sakuraba’s solo spin-off after co-running the Shimo-Takaido Magic Hour. Yokohama-born and ex printing-company sales, he built the place without a kitchen pedigree—recipes and beer knowledge are self-taught and stubbornly personal. Six rotating Japanese taps plus bottles, and two spice curries (aiga-ke if you want both) designed to sit next to hops, not fight them. He likes pouring with context: brewery background, style cues, why this keg today. Seats are spaced; outlets and Wi‑Fi exist for emergencies, but it’s still a bar. Community nights—runs, beer meetups, curry sessions—flip the room from calm to talky quickly. No cover; keep it moving.
