Ushigome-Kagurazaka brewpub opened December 18, 2021—a beer brand grafted onto a 60-year-old neighborhood teishoku diner ('Aoyagi') that the family already ran. Two-shift building: 6am to 2pm it serves as the diner (which keeps early hours because the place was a mochi shop in a previous life—mochi still on the menu), then evenings flip to Ushigome Beer Kan. The brewery 'Shingetsu Beer' sits behind glass next door, founded August 2020 by Aoyagi Yuta after he quit his day job; younger brother Satoshi runs the bar side. Six house taps including American Amber, Oatmeal Stout, American IPA; ¥1,200 three-beer flight. 22 seats, non-smoking, closed Mondays. The angle: father's cooking paired with son's beer.
