On Kawashima Shotengai, this is a working liquor shop that quietly built a kakuuchi corner: a single wooden standing table, fridge at your back, and plastic cups. The draw isn’t décor—it’s the stock, priced like a shop, not a bar. Regulars come for Kochi sake (Suigei, Tsukasa Botan and friends) brought in through a Kochi wholesaler, plus the occasional local crossover like Nakano’s limited “Nakano Bakushu”. The shelves also hide imports and cans (yes, the punk stuff). If the owner’s brother is on shift, a tap appears and Tokyo Blues (Ishikawa Shuzo, Fussa) gets poured. Cash-on at the register; drink, pay, step aside.
