Original craft beer bar opened February 17, 2007 on a side street behind Nihon-Odori, three minutes from Kannai. The master is a Kansai-born surfer and Shiga Kogen Beer devotee who runs a tight counter operation—ten taps leaning heavily on Tamamura Honten's Shiga Kogen, plus rotating Minoh Beer, Fuji Zakura Kogen, and Iwate Kura Beer. Calling card is the Shiga Kogen Miyama Blonde poured into usuhari thin-glass, ritual style. Fourteen seats total (ten counter, one four-top). Cash only, no cards or QR, no reservations, no cover. Food goes deeper than it needs to—wild yellowtail namerō, ¥700 black wagyū steak. Quiet by design, called by regulars the school for how Japanese craft should be poured. Non-smoking.
