Opened in 2013 in Kanda-Sudacho, Mugishuya plays both sides: Super Dry for the salaryman reflex, and eight rotating taps for people who actually read the style names. The room is plain on purpose—long wood counter, a handful of tables, chalkboards everywhere—and it runs like a neighborhood canteen at lunch, then flips to beer-bar mode later (smoking allowed after 16:00). It’s only 20 seats, so keep groups tight or just take the counter. No otoshi means you can do one pint and leave. Food leans European bar snacks made to pace your drinking; whisky is there when you stop pretending. Start with a half-pour if you’re indecisive.
