About
OGA started life as Cafe HOOOOP (2016) before brewer-owner Keisuke Ogasawara doubled down on brewing; the on-site kit began pouring in 2019 and the name nods to Original Gravity. The room in Shimorenjaku is part café, part brewhouse showroom—tanks in sight, 22 seats, and standing space when locals roll in after work. Their “GO WEST” Chuo Line series and the M.C (Mitaka Consecutive) batches lean on place branding and seasonal produce more than hype styles. There’s no cover and it’s fully non‑smoking; pay by card/IC/QR and keep your order tight: a taster, then whatever just came off the tank. Curry and small plates are built for session drinking, not a sit‑down dinner.
