Opened in 2013, Turquoise is Ogikubo’s after-work tapstand pretending to be a retro kissaten from the street. One macro anchor (Master’s Dream) sits beside six rotating craft taps, usually pouring in compact half-pint pours and moving fast when a keg kicks. The kitchen isn’t an afterthought: jerk chicken and curry show up constantly in regulars’ orders, so it eats like a small bar, not a tasting room. Downstairs is counter-first; upstairs tables are where small groups land. No cover, non-smoking. If you’re new, start with a small pour, then let the staff steer you toward the hop lane you actually drink.
