Opened on 3 November 2021 as a six-tap, six-seat offal-and-craft-beer room in a tucked-back old house behind Fukagawa High, MOTS was never about scale. The draw was how the tiny counter turned offal into bistro forms—tongue confit, Omi-beef heart tartare, pâté, quiche—next to curry, mapo tofu, and the occasional Thai detour. Plywood walls, chalkboard taps, cans overhead, and a scrap of outside bench made it feel more workshop than polished beer bar. One caution: current official listings and posts still point to long-term closure and an irregular restart, with the official booking page now leaning Thai and creative ethnic. Do not build a crawl around it until the reopen signal is explicit.
