Reincarnation of one of Tokyo's earliest dedicated craft beer bars. The original Kura Kura ran in Shimokitazawa from 1999 to 2009, then in a Kanda 3F walkup from 2009 to 2019 — back when domestic craft was still called "jibeer" and few people knew the difference. The owner closed at 65, took five years off, and reopened January 4, 2025 in Komagome (Foresta Rikugien 1F, ex-Brooklyn Cafe Port site, one minute from Namboku Line Exit 2). 8 taps of all-domestic, all-rotating beer — Kiyosato Lager, Brasserie Knot, Swan Lake, Yokohama Bay Brewing, Minoh, Hideji — served at brewer-spec temperatures via custom servers; the foam discipline is the point. Quiet 16-seater plus standing room, home-cooked pasta and beef curry, no cover. Closed Mondays. *Note: building scheduled for redevelopment April 2026 — operation may end.*
