Opened in 2018, this is the Setagaya-born Futako Beer brewpub above Yanagikoji’s alley shops—second floor, no theatrics, just a working system behind the bar. The house lineup leans approachable (pale, session, lager, stout) with small-batch seasonals, and they even publish the tap list as a PDF with English alongside Japanese. The room reads more cafe than pub: tables for pairs, a long counter facing the tanks, and enough light to see what you’re drinking. Order a flight of the core five, then one seasonal. Pair it with the beer-marinated karaage; pay cashless and leave before the river crowd drifts in.
