Tsuitachi Beer is built around an American PourMyBeer tap-wall: you load an NFC card, pour by the ounce, and pay exactly what you drank. The space keeps the old fishmonger tilework, a deliberate nod to the building’s previous life—manager Shirogaki says that was the point, not a makeover. Twelve taps skew Japanese microbreweries, with a few local Bunkyo pours mixed in, so you can compare styles without committing to a full pint. They allow outside food; hit the fish shop across the passage before it closes and carry in sashimi like you planned it. Weeknights attract nearby university types who treat it like a lab; keep your pours small and your opinions sharper.
