Opened in 2016 on the 2nd floor of a guitar-school building off Ebisu Minami, TBE is a beer-dining room that runs like a rotating tap lab: 10 lines, no fixed “house” beers, and kegs turn over constantly. Expect Japan-and-abroad craft, with hop-forward IPAs next to wheat and fruit styles; the chalkboard is the only list that matters. The room is stickered wood and brick under pendant lights—more taproom than izakaya. Food isn’t an afterthought: meat platters and bar staples are built for sharing, but solo drinkers can work the counter. English menu is available and it’s non-smoking. Cash or PayPay only; there’s a ¥300 otoshi.
