Legendary under-the-JR-tracks beer bar in Shimbashi, opened June 2007 and still running the same nautical bit: sunken stand-up bar downstairs, porthole windows recycled from a real ocean-goer, ship's-wheel tap housing, barometer by the door, raised lip on the counter so glasses don't slide in heavy seas. House tagline 'Aiming for the best Super Dry in Japan' is a knowing provocation—backed up by a maritime-dressed all-male crew, custom glassware, and a meticulous pour ritual. Eight rotating taps plus sixty-odd bottles cover domestic craft (Sumidagawa, Hitachino Nest, Brimmer) and US west coast (Green Flash). Kitchen runs on a 50-year-veteran Western chef: chicken basket, potato salad, Napolitan. Fourteen standing 1F, twenty tables 2F with a ¥520 charge. Closed Sundays.
