Akatsuki Growlers is the retail face of Iwate's Akatsuki Brewery (Hachimantai), pushing organic beer and growler culture into Okushibu. The room feels like a small gallery - track lights, built-in shelves of cans and stainless growlers, one long table - and the taps sit on an industrial draft machine in the back. Draft can be poured to your container by the milliliter, so you choose volume instead of committing to a pint; rentals exist if you don't own a growler. Expect Dragon Eye staples plus seasonal oddities using organically farmed adjuncts, and occasional bottles of their beer-derived gin. It's more refill station than bar: drink one, fill one, move on.
