Goodbeer Faucets has been pouring in Shoto since 2011, but the current identity is post-2020: Australian craft as the anchor, with Japan and the US filling the gaps. It’s a glass-walled second floor with a long tap line—40 drafts plus a few real-ale pulls—backed by a bottle shop you can take home. This is where beer nerds go to compare pours, not to collect photos. Tabelog notes a small ¥220 charge if you book “seat only”; walk-ins usually skip the fuss. Pick one unfamiliar tap, ask what just arrived from Australia, and let the smash burger do the rest. Go early and stay sharp.
