Lab Kitchen landed in Iwamotocho in 2021 and runs like a bistro built around beer, not the other way around. The taps lean on Gotemba’s AUGUST BEER—often four styles—backed by a serious wine shelf (natural bottles mixed in, around 40 labels). The kitchen keeps a clear lane: salmon and seasonal seafood as carpaccio and pasta, plus a few meat staples for after-work groups. Seats hover around 30, but it can flip into a 40-person stand-up booking. Inside is non-smoking; nicotine lives outside on the little patio table. Card and PayPay are fine. Weeknights skew office locals—eat, drink, leave. Arrive early; counter spots go first.
