Opened in July 2023, THE ALL DAY is Masato Hasegawa’s Hikifune answer to the usual Tokyo beer-bar problem: too many places built only for drinkers. Hasegawa came up through Italian restaurants, taught himself sausage-making to avoid generic menu overlap, then spun the formula out from sister shop THE DAY east tokyo into his own neighborhood. The room is built around a central standing table under a hard red ceiling, with counter seats, a quieter raised sofa corner, and children’s books at the windows. Beer matters — about nine taps, sometimes hand-pulled, plus imported picks — but the real tell is the mixed crowd. Order sausage first. Wine can wait.
