Ryuda is run by Tomonari, an itamae who spent years inside the Tokyo beer world before opening his own counter in October 2019. The entry is a noren and sliding door off the Yoyogi–Kitasandō shotengai, then a bright, clean room that reads more sushi-ya than beer pub. Ten taps rotate, but the point is not hype; Tomonari chooses the keg and often chooses your pairing, course by course. The kitchen leans on Shimane ingredients via his wife’s roots, with small plates that track seasonality. If you only want one pour, use the standing counter by the door and leave quietly.
