Sanity opened in August 2021 as a hybrid bottle shop and stand-up tap bar on Sancha Sakae-dori. Inside is eight bodies max: three counter seats, a couple standing tables, and one terrace perch. The main draw is inventory discipline—around 10 taps plus fridge doors packed with hundreds of cans and hard cider, split between Japan and imports. Pours skew small (about 250ml) for sampling, then US pint if you’re committing, and they rotate through tap-takeover nights. There’s basically no food beyond packaged snacks, so eat before you arrive. No table charge, but some visitors report a per-can opening fee. Card/IC/QR all work.
