Husband-and-wife German specialist on the second floor of Akasaka-dōri 50 building, two minutes from Akasaka Sta. Exit 7—the kind of place that's been quietly feeding the TBS/Hakuhodo crowd for nearly two decades while the surrounding street churned through trends. The chef sources sausages directly from the southern village of Waldecker (no preservatives) and has personally walked the country to bring back the regional dishes—pork sauté with tomato vinegar, chili-tomato hamburg, schnitzel, German potato. Four Spaten/Franziskaner taps on permanent rotation plus roughly 30 bottles from across Germany on a private import line, and Franken wines from small family estates. Madame is a certified beer taster and rotates her tracht monthly. 35 seats, BYO drinks allowed, accordion night once a month. Closed Sundays, Mondays, holidays.
