JOLLYS started as Awaya, a neighborhood liquor shop founded in 1921, then rebooted in 2016 as a standing bar with a bottle-shop front. The soundtrack matters: there's a small stage in back for DJ nights, pop-ups, and the occasional live set, plus a fully soundproof karaoke party room downstairs. It's self-service: pick American craft cans and imported bottles from the fridges, pay, and drink at stickered drum tables under neon beer signs. Food is bar-level but useful: spam musubi, hot dogs, chili dogs, and US chips. No cover, free Wi-Fi, non-smoking inside; step outside by the door if you need a smoke.
