Right beside Tachiaigawa Station and the Lawson, waku-waku is a narrow daytime tachinomi built for short pauses, not sessions. The public trail around it is thin, which fits the shop: about 10 standing spots, four daily craft taps, a Tap Marché/Kirin spine, and a few practical food moves like stew, cheese, soft-boiled eggs, and cheap snacks. Pricing stays modest — small pours start around ¥500, flights sit around ¥1,800 — so the point is calibration, not conquest. This is not where you chase cult breweries or cellar trophies. Use it as a local buffer: one careful first beer before Torikatsu, before the train, or before you decide whether Tachiaigawa deserves a longer night.
