Two minutes off Oji Station, this herb-and-beer dining room trades the usual izakaya clatter for something calmer: 28 seats split between a short four-stool counter and roomy tables, bright and fully non-smoking, pitched at conversation rather than roar. Nine rotating taps anchor the wall, backed by 200-plus bottles and the house "Oji 1-chome Beer"; the kitchen leans on herbs, several grown in-house, plus regional sausages and 20-odd wines. The move: grab the counter, order the three-beer tasting flight, then let the staff steer you toward a herb sour. Note the flat 500 yen seating charge. Come solo early, or bring a group and take a table.
