A ground-floor German beer hall off Okachimachi's jewelry-district backstreets, run by chef Katsuaki Akehata. Ten counter stools, tables, and a smoking-friendly terrace sit under warm low light with a woodsy forest-lodge feel; the name means 'forest.' Six German drafts rotate alongside ten-plus bottled imports, and the house pour is Riegele, from an Augsburg brewery going since 1386. Order it by the half-litre, then Nuremberg sausages or the eisbein. Come with a group; solos take the counter. Cards and QR work, no otoshi, indoors stays smoke-free. Load-bearing German, not a novelty act, closer to Bavaria than to Ueno.
