Dspeed opened in 2017 near Fudomae as a teppan-first beer bar, run by manager Matsubara. The room is small (13 seats) but the tables connect for an 11-person block, so locals use it like a private canteen. Beer is Baird-led: eight draft lines, plus a takeaway fridge with 50+ bottles and seasonal extras, backed by a liquor license. The food is unapologetically Hiroshima—ingredients shipped in, okonomiyaki with proper steamed noodles, plus Onomichi-style and their spicy karamen-yaki. No cover, all non-smoking, and a couple chairs outside if you need air. Sit at the counter, watch what’s moving on draft, and pay the simple way.
