Ale House has been running since 2001, a basement UK-style pub that doubles as a gig room—drums and amps live behind the bar for two nights a week. They’re a Japan Craft Beer Pub Association member, and it shows in the rotation. Owner Hiroyuki Suzuki (also behind Oasis/Nonsuch) helped launch the group’s Otaki Bakushu brewery in Chiba, so guest taps often lean that direction alongside rotating imports. Expect 8+ drafts plus a deep bottle list and whisky, with soccer on the monitors when there’s no set. Food is pub weight: haggis rice, house keema curry, and fried plates built to chase IPA. No cover. Cards and IC don’t work; PayPay does. English menu available. Smoking allowed.
