Far Yeast Brewing’s Gotanda outpost is built into the Tokyu Ikegami Line viaduct redevelopment: a glass-fronted room, a stand-up/takeout corner, and a terrace for 30. General manager Daisuke Inagaki runs it like a tasting counter, steering people through 12–18 rotating taps and the house staples (KAGUA and the Far Yeast series), plus guest kegs. The brewery’s story matters here—founder Shiro Yamada started Far Yeast in 2011 after seeing the UK’s beer culture, and the bar keeps the Yamanashi farm link front and center. There’s no cover charge, and the list also leans into natural wine. Order a seasonal like Peach Haze and listen for regulars comparing this year’s batch.
