Tokyo Hops opened in 2018 as a ‘world beer dining’ play: a dark pub interior, bottle-wall backbar, and a 57-inch screen that turns matches into background noise. The draw is volume—100+ beers across bottles and rotating draft—rather than rare one-off Japanese releases. It’s built for small groups, with sofa and table seating plus a workable counter, and it runs on a ¥300 table charge. Cards are fine; e-money and QR aren’t. If you care about beer quality, start with draft, then pick one bottle you’ve never seen and split it. Eat the lamb sausage or fish & chips and move on.
