Akishima brewpub opened May 2018, three minutes from the station, built around a dual obsession with 'bitter drinks'—they brew beer and roast coffee under the same roof. Twelve taps, most of it house beer, and the hook is four of those lines run nitro; expect oddities like a nitro sake weizen bock alongside stranger originals (Zebra Udon Dashi Ale, Strawberry Daifuku Sour, and an Akishima Industry FES Ale brewed with local groundwater, rice, and yuzu). 15 seats, brewery visible through glass. Weekend brunch. Mondays are beer-and-BYO-food only—take your trash with you. Three-beer tasting flight ¥1,600, no cover, Akishima gyoza and pulled-pork poutine anchor the kitchen.
