Opened December 27, 2024 as Sakamichi Brewing's second location, the north-side answer to the original Shibasaki taproom that has dominated Tachikawa craft beer since March 2020. Co-founders are head brewer Matthew Boynton (British, hosts the 'Sakamichi Nights' beer podcast with Daniel Bellamy) and the brewing team, partly Campfire-crowdfunded. S-Cube North building, less than a minute walk from Tachikawa Station north exit, right beside the Central Post Office. Eight taps, almost all house beer, occasional guest: Tachikawa Hop City, Haze Craze, Slam Dank DIPA, plus rotating one-offs. Flat price ¥990 per glass, one size. Mostly standing, minimal tables, self-service from the counter. No kitchen, food BYO permitted. Regulars say 'see you at North'.
