XIXI TOKYO is the Japan-side return of a team that cut its teeth in Taiwan, where they opened sister shop “XIXI Taipei” in 2021. Tokyo opened in November 2023 with 12 taps, leaning hard on Taiwanese imports they bring in themselves—UGLY HALF regularly appears alongside other Asia kegs. The room is clean and modern, more neo-izakaya than beer-nerd bunker, so you’ll see office crews mixing with beer people. No cover, all non-smoking, and the counter seats are the best for watching the taps change. Treat the list like a market stall: ask what just arrived, order a half-size first, then lock in with daji pai or luwei.
