Brewpub opened December 2, 2016 by Sakaguchi-ya, a fifth-generation liquor wholesaler founded 1874 in Tokaichiba—the name reads Ten-Days-Market 1874. The old convenience store they ran on the Hōbukuro-iriguchi corner was gutted for a British-green storefront with a glass-walled brewery and a retail shop stocking 300 sakes across three temperature-zoned fridges plus 200 wines. Brighton-born head brewer George Juniper, formerly production manager at Dark Star, runs a 400L kit on a balance philosophy. Local-circulation concept: spent grain goes to Sato Farm, whose Hamanashi pears and Harumi rice come back as Hamanashi Gose and Nō-Beer. Seven minutes from Tokaichiba Station on the JR Yokohama Line, twenty seats plus standing room. Non-smoking throughout, parking for four. Closed Wednesdays.
