About
Owner Takashi Yamamoto and brewer Ryoichi Ishikawa started brewing here in 2018; the name pulls from Kugayama’s ‘mountain’ and the Kanda River nearby. It’s a concrete-and-wood workshop, not a bar: weekday drop-ins buy bottles and whatever’s currently on draft, poured into plastic cups for a quick stand-up sip. Expect two or three taps at most, and a brewer who remembers regulars. Saturdays lean into a rough kaku-uchi, drawing neighbors and the bike/camp crowd rather than tour groups. House DNA is Belgian—white and saison with bottle-conditioning—then a rotating IPA series and farm-connected fruit ales that stay dry. No kitchen, no lingering. Pay cash or PayPay; keep fragrance and smoke outside.
