Ground-floor tenant in the Shibuya Stream complex, run under the World Liquor Importers banner, the outfit that hauls 60-plus beers from 35 countries into Japan. Expect a bright, high-ceilinged grill hall, 67 seats skewed heavily toward tables, chatter bouncing off hard surfaces. Ten rotating taps run German Hofbrau, Czech pilsner, Belgian Brugse Zot, Pike IPA out of Seattle. The move: grab the nine-seat counter facing the taps, order a Belgian dubbel and the house sausages, skip the Chicago pizza. A 550-yen charge kicks in weekday evenings unless you are on a course.
