Two-story kominka on a Kagurazaka side alley, opened June 2020 as TAIHU BREWING's first directly operated taproom outside Taiwan. Parent is one of Taiwan's original craft breweries, based in Da'an, Taipei; their PR scouted across Tokyo before settling here for the old ryōtei-district history, preserving the former Japanese restaurant's noren and facade. First floor is a modern beer bar with counter, sofa and a standing corner; second floor runs as a Taiwanese izakaya. Ten-plus taps rotate fruity, sour, IPA, and Japanese-style Taihu kegs shipped from Taipei. Kitchen sends out Taiwanese fried chicken, paigu, lu rou fan, Sichuan-pepper pickles. English and Chinese staff, no cover charge, bottles for takeaway.
