AFTER SCHOOL BREWERY is Mishuku Beer LLC’s taproom-brewhouse, built into the former staff room of the old Ikejiri Junior High School inside HOME/WORK VILLAGE. The “principal” is brewer/owner Fumitake Kikuchi (Hayama Brewstars Yacht Club), who opened the taproom first and rolled out original batches in early 2026. House beers lean into the ‘classmate’ concept—styles as personalities—while guest taps rotate fast. It’s non-smoking, no cover, and the terrace doubles as a schoolyard extension (dogs terrace-only). Behind glass sit six tanks, and the menu invites customers to request styles and watch recipes evolve. Order a flight, then anchor with pizza and a pint.
