Munich is one of the larger, calmer operations inside Kichijoji’s Harmonica Yokocho, run under the VIC/Hamoyoko umbrella rather than a lone hobbyist. It opened in 2011 and plays “beer hall” with multiple floors, two entrances (arcade and alley), and a mural room that feels like a low‑rent European cafeteria. Beer is import‑heavy—German standards plus Czech pilsners—backed by sausages, eisbein, and a surprising amount of pasta/ajillo. Daytime runs café-style; at night it turns into a loud-but-contained room for groups. Regulars use it as a 0th stop before the alley crawl: go upstairs, order in rounds, and don’t camp. Separated smoking area; cards and QR accepted.
